SLRSA Suffers Another Setback As Armed Robbers Ransacked SLRSA Lunsar Branch And Carted Away Property Worth Millions

Report reaching us from our personnel at our Lunsar Branch along the Makeni highway in Lunsar Northern Sierra Leone indicate that a gang of armed robbers attacked and entered the premises of the SLRSA Lunsar Branch, ransacked the office and carted away with property worth millions of Leones and left the security guard badly injured.
This happened in the early hours of Monday 26th August 2019. The Sierra Leone Police were informed and investigations are ongoing.
This is happening at a time when the new administration headed by David Panda-Noah, and his Deputy Ibrahim Sannoh are working tirelessly towards decentralization and interconnectivity of the Authority's operation and make its services accessible to all and sundry.
Mr. Ibrahim Sannoh Deputy Executive Director SLRSA Described such as an attack on development and progress. He urged the police to investigate and bring the perpetrators to book.
"I urged the Sierra Leone Police to speedily investigate the issue and let the perpetrators pay for their criminal act." He said.

Mr. Abdul Karim Dumbuya Public Relations and Outreach Manager SLRSA said, the recent spate of attack on the Authority's personnel and properties is not only becoming worrisome but a security threat to the nation.
