The UK's National Union of Journalists (NUJ) welcomes back Shekito in its fold, receives 'THE MABANTA BOY'

The Secretary General of the UK and Ireland National Union of Journalists (Manchester Branch), Kath Grant, has formally welcomed back Sierra Leonean journalist Sheka Tarawalie (Shekito) as its member.

 

Tarawalie joined the NUJ in 2005 but tempirarily suspended his membership when called home to become the Press Secretary to the President in 2007.

 

Now back in the UK, Shekito has re-joined the 1907-founded union, one of the biggest journalists' associations in the world.

 

He used the occasion to present a copy of his book, 'Pope Francis, Politics and the Mabanta Boy' to the Secretary Genera
