This press is asking this question because lately one of Freetown's good private hospitals is now seen as a death trap.

Report reaching us indicates that the hospital service delivery has dropped significantly.

Choithram was established in 1993 to provide comprehensive medicare to the residents of Sierra Leone. This vision is now seen to be in comprehensive based on public opinion and experiences they have got from the hospital.

Some of the causes that have led to maternal and infant deaths at the hospital are unbelievable to accept for a private hospital. A woman lost her newborn at the hospital because the hospital does not have incubator. learned that health workers at the hospital are being underpaid. The doctors are most times not in the hospital when needed because they work on a per time basis among others.

Seth Shri Thakurdas Choithram Pagarani the founder of Choithram a great philanthropist who desired to provide an ultramodern hospital in Freetown, to serve the local populace, as an affordable referral hospital; where ever he is would not be a happy man.

To help save lives, is calling on the Minister of Health and Sanitation to pay on the spot visit at the hospital in order to inspect the quality of service of the hospital.
