FC Johansen midfielder, George `Kweku` Davis has told this press that he`s fully fit ahead of Sierra Leone clash against Equatorial Guinea on Saturday in Freetown.
He said: “I was troubled by injuries in our last match against Cape Verde but I am a bit more settled now and it hasn`t been easier for me since I picked up that injury against Ports Authority in the start of this season`s premier league,” he told this press.
“I`m more mature than I have been before, I am looking forward to play and do my best for Sierra Leone,” he said. Both Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea chances of qualifying have been dashed away as both teams currently trailing group leaders Tunisia by six points.
He continued: “It will suit us if they come to play an open game. That means we can hit them on the counter .I am confident we can do the business even though winning Saturday`s match will take us nowhere.
“We are much stronger at home and things are looking good for us,” concluded the midfielder of FC Johansen. “There is always pressure when you play for the national team but we have to be focused. As for me I think there is pressure on me so I have to give 100% commitment to prove my critic wrong, even though the nation expects the team to hit the back of the net, especially in this match,” George said.
