Diamond FC is in disarray following the expulsion of four executive members. The four members include Pecos Lamin (Secretary General), Alhaji `Yegemah` Kondeh (Vice President), Mohamed Komba (Public Relations Officer) and Sahr James (Welfare Officer).

Speaking to this press via telephone, PC Torto said the above mentioned members tempered with club`s rules and regulations, adding that they went further by humiliating his personality in the concluded SLFA forth congress in which Madam Isha Johansen was elected as president of the SLFA.

He further states that Mohamed Komba who doubles as “His Master`s Voice” has always been ready to be remote controlled to discredit authorities of the club.

He, however, stated that the PRO further threatened that the executive would impeach him for his current position.
He alleged that Mohamed Komba stated that they did not recognise the Kono District Football Association (KDFA) as the district FA.

Asked whether he has the full support of supporters of the club and other key stakeholders, he replied, “Oh yes! “I have the backing of the fan club members, Paramount Chiefs, our sponsors OCTEA Mining Company and other key stakeholders of the club,” he assured.

Reacting to the chairman`s press release, Team Manager and Council of Chiefs chairman Paramount Chief Paul Gaba Saquee said the expulsion of the four members was unfortunate and unfounded.

He said: “I`m the chairman of the Council of Chiefs and not aware of such meeting to expel these members, he told this press. “They are still active members of the club.

Asked what would be his position if the expulsion of the four members stands, he replied, “Let us wait and see I would soon get back to the press”, he disclosed.
