The effort by President Ernest Bai Koroma to unite football stakeholders after the fourth SLFA Congress has been considered fruitless after the new executive led by Madam Johansen failed to embrace pre-conditions of the aggrieved members at a meeting with the President at State House on Tuesday.
According to the aggrieved members, one of Isha's executive members, Alhaji Nasiru Othman had earlier admitted before the President that the elections were marred by fraud describing the entire process in our local parlance that, it was "Fullah for Fullah" meaning that false delegates were substitute for genuine delegates after some 33 members boycotted the congress.
This adage was very much popular during the days of late President Siaka Stevens in defrauding whatever elections.
They however demanded the dismissal of the General Secretary, Abdul Rahman Swaray and the Protocol Officer of the FA, Sorie Ibrahim Sesay for their pivotal roles in falsifying the delegates’ list and those who impersonated should be punished by law.
2) That a tribunal under article 63 of the SLFA Statutes acceptable to all parties be established to examine their petition to the Normalization Committee so as to give them a chance to clear their names.
3) That victimization of their supporters and delegates stop immediately (The President handled that immediately).
4) That all district and Regional Elections be suspended until after the congress next year (the President handled that immediately).
According to the spokesman of the Rodney Michael campaign team, Siragi Rollings, the previous congress was illegitimate; adding that the EXCO is illegal and if they permit the illegality of the Isha`s regime, then those culprits should be punished.
