One of the disqualified Presidential candidates of this year’s SLFA elective congress, Rodney Michael who was also a delegate, said that the SLFA elective congress on Saturday August 3rd 2013 was illegal, as most of the delegates who attended the conference were fake delegates.

He made this statement on Sunday August 4th on Kalleone radio during their spectacular Sports programme.
He also stated that for that reason, the election is not credible and that is why they will not endorse such an executive.
He also stated that the election was full of irregularities, including manufacturing of delegates by the SLFA Normalization Committee. It was on these grounds, that the 33 real delegates have signed a resolution not to respect the outcome of the elections.

He also stated that before the elections, the SLFA Normalization Committee did not give any report of their stewardship to the football family, thereby exposing themselves to ridicule.

In another related development, most of the candidates that did not participate in the congress have told Awoko that they refused to take part in the election because the process is not credible. That is why they are not going to play the Premier League.
