Former player of Kakua Rangers and East End Lions, John Dissa, has told this press that he will give his best to promote football in the country if only stakeholders have trust in him and cast their votes for him for the position of ex-officio member in the coming SLFA elections scheduled for 27th July 2013 in Freetown.
He said football should be administered by football players, adding that if he secures the position he will do all he could to bring massive changes in the game.
“We`re not happy with the current trend of soccer in the country which prompted us to come on board to salvage the situation,” he told this press.
When asked the camp he belongs to, he replied, “I do not belong to any camp but I strongly believe the stakeholders will determine the right person for the hot seat on the 27th of July.”
“My position will be to advice and making suggestions when necessary. We want to see the dark days of soccer behind us and bring back the lost glory. It is going to be a total transformation,” he promised.
He however called on stakeholders to vote their conscience for the good of the game.
