Ports Authority FC
FC Johansen and Ports Authority at the weekend grabbed their first wins in the ongoing premier league. FC Johansen who drew goalless in their first match on Sunday embarrassed East End Lions with a 1-0 win at the national stadium mainbowl. Abdul Salam Bangura aka “Versel” accounted for the only goal that separated the two sides. Ports Authority also proved too strong to the “Khaki Boys” as they humiliated RSLAF 3-1.
Nathaniel Tongor Fullah, Julius Goba and Foday Mansaray alias Ballack accounted for the Water Front boys’ goals while Sei Coleman got the only consolation for the RSLAF side.

East End Lions
FC Johansen were convincing as they outplayed East End Lions in a match that could have been a goal feast had it not been for the unbelievable performance and point blank saves by Lions’ goalkeeper, Unisa `Pepe` Koroma through out the match.
FC Johansen has now secured four points after two matches, while East End Lions and RSLAF are still struggling to regain their forms. Ports Authority took a massive leap forward in the current standings with four points from two matches.
Defending champions, Diamond Stars were on Sunday held to a goalless draw at home by Gem Stars of Tongo, while Bo Rangers forced their bitter rivals Kamboi Eagles to a goalless draw at the Kenema Town field in Kenema.
In today`s fixture, Anti Drugs and Old Edwardians will be searching for their first victories as they go head to head at the SLFA academy later today. Old Edwardians lost their opening fixture to FC Kallon while Anti Drugs were held to a goalless by their local rivals, East End Lions at the Newton stadium.
